In Confrontation, the wolfen were one of the iconic armies (as opposed to dwarfs or elves or men). They were giant humanoid wolves. They were fairly fast, hit hard, but did not have much resiliance. I liked the huge wolves, and alternated their colors between brown and grey.
Awards
While I'm not the best gamer, I do win sometimes, and occasionally I even win a tournament, not just a painting award. So these are the four award winning army configurations I've used.
Dayton 9/17/05 Dayton Best Painted 4/8/06
NACORD National Championship 8/11/06, 3rd Place Dayton 12/09/06
